OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY
Maximise your business performance with Operational Integrity!
DO YOU OPERATE WITH LOW OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY (OI)?
- VAre your process outputs not consistent?
- VIs your operator response lacking?
- VDo unwanted events occur repetitively, and as such also affect downtime?
- VDo you have quality issues in your processes?
- VHave uncontrolled risks been identified, and are these risks impacting operations?
If any of the boxes are checked, it is an indication that we can improve your Operational Integrity.
Operating with low integrity can negatively impact your processes, asset performance, and operational outcomes.
What is Operational Integrity?
Operational Integrity is the measure of how well People, Processes, and Assets deliver the desired outcome. Notably, the interdependent nature of the three elements means optimum reliability, safety, and performance occur when the three elements operate in harmony.
-
- People – How and who will do things are key inputs that need to be considered in all lifecycle phases. Ensuring people are competent, understand, and will respond effectively is part of OI.
- Process – Reliable and, in particular, stable and consistent control of the production process is required.
- Asset – The asset needs to be fit for purpose. This includes the physical plant, appropriate sensors and control elements, information availability, and capacity. Accessing the spare capacity is part of RTPI.
Triple i’s OI framework promotes repeatable operational excellence and also provides a platform for continuous improvement. Similarly, our framework focuses on effectively integrating the three core elements – people, process, and assets.

ACHIEVE OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY
Triple i’s OI framework focuses on effectively integrating these three elements and promotes repeatable operational excellence and a mechanism for continuous improvement. In short, this framework provides an assurance of OI performance by considering the elements throughout all project phases including concept, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and improvement.
We can help improve your OI and have developed an internal OI Certification Program as part of our services. Our certification program and its processes cover four (4) critical lifecycle phases, including Design, Controls, Operations, and Maintenance. We also conduct audits of existing or new systems, including revalidation of specific elements if required.
